The characteristics for operational elements associated with the geographical mapping of an Internet IPAddress can be configured via Setting=IPMapping, as follows:
- PrivateCountry
- Specifies the 2 character country codes (separated by a + sign) for the geographic locations that are permitted to use the Private area of the website (PrivateCountry=>US+CA would permit usage of the Private Segments from IP Addresses identifiable as being from the United States and Canada). Default is no specification (meaning, all countries of origin are permitted).
- SuppressCountry
- Specifies the ISO3166 Country Code for the primary location associated with the Website. When the IPAddress translation causes the same Country to be obtained, it will be suppressed for display purposes. Default is US.
- SuppressRegion
- Specifies the Region (in the U.S., the "State") that will be considered the Home Region for the Website. When an IPAddress translation derives the same Region for the IPAddress, it is suppressed for Display purposes only. Default is WA.
