Overview
- What is the MatchReport Concept?
- A MatchReport records Assignment completion information for a single Assignment completed by an individual Referee
- Why use the Concept?
- Match Reports allow you to keep track of which Referees completed which Assignments, the results of the Assignments, and the processing related to them (e.g. Compensation, etc.).
- How is the concept implemented?
- The Referee uses Referee: Match Report after completing an Assignment. The Referee can review previously filed MatchReports via Referee: Accounting. Administrators, Assignors, and Financial Officers can review all of the MatchReports by using the corresponding Accounting functions.
Comments
Every Referee is required to file a MatchReport after completing an Assignment. This permits the Referee to confirm what happened at the Field (e.g. who showed up, what the score was, etc.) AND provides a basis for computing the Referee's Compensation for the Assignment.
You can also use the MatchReport to compute standings (provided that appropriate League, Level, and Division values are in place). Furthermore, you can collect League-specific information, such as Sportsmanship Scores and Cards issued.
The Referee will receive a reminder notice if he or she forgets to file a MatchReport or just hasn't gotten to it yet.
