Manual: Introduction-Licensing

The RidgeStar Interactive Site is a concept and an implementation, as described herein. The specific implementation described in this Documentation IS copyrighted © and proprietary to RidgeStar, as indicated at the bottom of each and every page produced by the Site. No other individual, client or anyone else is authorized or permitted to take a direct copy of the RidgeStar Interactive Site and use it independently without a signed and active RidgeStar Service Agreement.

As discussed in the Service Agreement, RidgeStar retains all rights to the physical embodiment, database designs, and all scripts and processes associated with one of its sites. The "technology" utilized to implement the Sites is specifically NOT Licensed to any User or Client, either directly or indirectly. The Client retains and directly owns any data present in the databases or any transactions that take place on the Site.

It is important that all RidgeStar clients understand that the Service Fees are paid to RidgeStar for the Service involved with operating the site and NOT to "License" or "Purchase" the pages, scripts, and database designs.
